After making a mark on the small screen with her performances in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Naagin, Mouni Roy has turned her ways towards Bollywood. She made her debut last year opposite Akshay Kumar in Gold. She then starred in Romeo Akbar Walter opposite John Abraham and now, she is gearing up for the release of Made In China.

Apart from Made In China, Mouni has Brahmastra in her kitty. The actress plays the role of an antagonist in the film, and recently in an interview with a daily, she spoke about the most difficult part of playing the villain.

Mouni said, “I am the antagonist to Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Amitabh Bachchanji. As a villain, you have to obviously show fury and enmity towards them. That was extremely tough because I have looked up to Amitabhji as a hero ever since my teenage years. Not only was I performing in front of him but also had to show rage. For this, I had to prepare myself a lot! It was hard but now I really look forward to seeing it on the screen. The audience will see me in a new avatar.”

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra has been in the making for quite some time. The movie was slated to release on Independence Day this year, then it was postponed to Christmas this year, and now finally, the makers have decided to release it in Summer 2020. However, the exact release date of the film has not been announced.
