“Allu Arjun and S Radha Krishna are now teaming up one more time to produce Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo in Hindi. The script is in place and they have even got a director on board to helm the project. Rohit Dhawan, who earlier directed Desi Boyz (2011) and Dishoom (2016) will be captaining this one. The makers wanted to make it with a young Gen-Y star who has a good audience base,” reveals a source in the know.

The source goes on to add that Rohit Dhawan was earlier keen to rope in his brother, Varun Dhawan, for the lead role but he ended up choosing Kartik. “Kartik has been narrated the full Hindi version of the script over a video call recently in the presence of Allu and Radha Krishna. He had loved the original and from what we hear, he has already given his nod to the Hindi remake as well. The team is currently figuring out his dates and will lock the schedule once everything is back to normal,” the source says in conclusion.

Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan will next be seen in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Dostana 2.
