Hot and handsome actor Karan Singh Grover has not been seen in any film or television show for a long time now. The actor, who made a crossover to films from television with the horror flick Alone in 2015, was last seen in director Vishal Pandya's Hate Story 3.
If you have been missing the actor all this while, then we have some good news for you. The actor is soon going to foray into the digital space with a web-show.
Television czarina Ekta Kapoor has signed Grover for a web-series which will be streamed on her subscription based video on demand platform ALTBalaji.
For the ones not in the know, Karan was launched by Ekta Kapoor with the 2004 show Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi. The actor will return to Balaji after a huge gap of 12 years. Expressing his happiness over reuniting with Kapoor again, Karan says, “I have started my acting journey with Balaji, and Ekta is the person responsible for my career. I’m extremely happy to be part of ALTBalaji.”
If sources are to be believed, the actor will play a Bengali man in the show. It is going to be completely contrary to the host of characters the actor has previously played on small and big screen. A source says, “The series will see him experiencing three different stages of life at 17, 25 and 32.”
We feel Karan doesn't need to go far to prepare for his role in the web-series. He can take tuition at home from his wife, Bipasha Basu, who is a Bengali.
