Kapil Sharma hopes to collaborate with Sunil Grover for a show

Kapil Sharma never shied away from answering questions about his infamous fight with Sunil Grover while travelling on an airplane. And this time too, when a leading Indian daily asked him about his hopes from Sunil Grover, Kapil said,“Sunil and I know each other from the last nine years, and have worked together from the last five years. I don’t have any complaints about Sunil, but if I were Sunil, I would have tried to understand what is going wrong with a friend.”

In an interaction with a leading publication, Kapil mentioned about associating with Sunil Grover for a comedy show. Kapil said, “Sunil and I haven’t met in a long time, but we chat over messages. He is currently in Canada. As soon as he returns, we will meet up and discuss the possibility of a new show. Hopefully, we should be back together.”

Earlier, Ali Asgar and Sugandha Mishra walked out of the show as soon as Sunil Grover left the show. Now, Kapil reveals that other cast members have too assured to return on the show. Kapil said, “The rest of the cast members are also ready to come on board.”
Kapil recalled about how he struggled to get Sunil Grover back on his show Comedy Nights With Kapil in 2014.

He said, “When he had left the show earlier [to pursue his own show, Mad In India], I had dissuaded him from leaving us. This time too, I was sad that our issue had become so big that it had started affecting our friendship. I tried explaining to him that everyone makes mistakes and I too had committed one. But he wouldn’t have any of it.”
