John Abraham’s Parmanu- The Story of Pokhran gets a new release date

John Abraham will be next featured in Abhishek Sharma’s Parmanu- The Story of Pokhran. The film’s cast also includes Diana Penty and Boman Irani in the pivotal roles. The movie is based on Indian army and scientists. The release date of the movie has been pushed to April 6, 2018.

Played by fictitious characters, the movie is based on true events. The film gets a new release date and the poster of the same was released.

Earlier, talking about the film, John said to a leading Indian tabloid, “I have never been in a hurry to produce films and have been searching for subjects that are engaging… stories that resonate with the current socio-political and economic mood of the country. This film fits in perfectly with my pursuit, and I am also happy to start my association with Prernaa and Arjun.”

The director of the film, Abhishek said, “I’m glad to collaborate with John. His involvement as an actor and producer adds great value and credibility to my vision.”

Commenting on the film, Diana had said to a leading Indian daily, “I’ve always wanted to be a part of stories that are compelling. The events at Pokhran were historic for India and changed the way the world perceived us. I’m fortunate to be in the team that will recreate that piece of history on screen.
