There may be a constant clash between India and Pakistan but in a goodwill gesture, the troops of the Border Security Force (BSF) and the Pakistani Rangers exchanged sweets at Attari Border on the occasion of Eid al-Adha on Saturday.
Though there is tension on the borders and in the Jammu and Kashmir region but forces of both nations decided to exchange the pleasantries as this has been a continuous ritual on this border.
The exchange took place at 10:00 a.m. when the border gates were opened by forces of both the countries. The Indian contingent that went to the border gate to offer sweets was led by Commandant Sudeep of the BSF while Wing Commander Billal Ahmad of the Pakistani Rangers was leading the Pakistani troops.
