Handsome Bollywood star Emraan Hashmi, who has not tasted box-office success for a quite while now, has signed on to produce and star in an upcoming Hindi feature film, titled Father’s Day. Based on Gujarati author Praful Shah’s popular book Drishyam Adrishyam, the film tells an emotional father-son story. It is inspired from a real-life detective Suryakant Bhande Patil, who has solved 120 child kidnapping cases for free. Hashmi plays Suryakant Bhande Patil in the movie.
