Back to school: Salman Khan, Rahul Gandhi, BR Ambedkar among 'students' of Agra University!

A student of an Aligarh-based college affiliated to the Agra University was awarded with a marksheet bearing Salman Khan's photograph.

University's discrepancy came to light when the photograph of the marksheet went viral on social media.

The marksheet originally belongs to a BA first year student. The student was studying in Amrata Singh Memorial Degree College in Tejpur Java of Aligarh district affiliated under the Agra University.

The enrolled number of the student is given on the marksheet but with a photograph of Salman Khan along with it.

Meanwhile, sources from the university administration said another marksheed had Rahul Gandhi's photo on it.

A source told media,"There are scores of marksheets where Bhimrao Ambedkar's name is printed in place of the name of the student. Such mistakes are usually committed by the private agencies to whom the job of printing the marksheets is outsourced."

According to the media report, an official spokesman of Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, Agra, Dr Girija Shankar had no official information about discrepancy of any marksheets.

“We have verified our records which were found to be correct,” Dr Shankar claimed, denying any error on the part of the university.

“It is the student who fills the form and pastes his photo which is forwarded by the college principal after verification. An invigilator also checks the content,” he said.
