Arjun Kapoor plays a Haryanavi cop in Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar!

After the success of his last release, Mubarakan, Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor will next be seen in Dibakar Banerjee’s upcoming directorial, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar. The actor shared the first look poster the forthcoming movie earlier today.

Arjun took to micro-blogging site Twitter to reveal the first look poster of the film. “10th film 1 truth... Change is the only constant! Can’t wait to begin filming this one. Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar,” Arjun tweeted on Tuesday.


In the first look poster, the actor is seen sporting a buzz cut typical of police recruits and embodies the heartland policeman. Arjun Kapoor plays a 30-year-old police constable from Haryana in the film.

Arjun Kapoor ventured into Hindi films with Ishaqzaade in 2012. He subsequently starred in movies like Aurangzeb, Gunday, 2 States, Finding Fanny, Tevar, Ki And Ka, Half Girlfriendand Mubarakan.

Arjun has spent extensive amounts of time prepping for this role under Banerjee’s supervision. He interacted with police recruits across all ranks in both the Delhi Police and Haryana police and also visited a training academy to witness all that goes into the making of a heartland police officer, read a statement from Yash Raj Films. He is looking forward to playing a “realistic and unique” policeman.

Produced by Yash Raj Films, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar is scheduled to release on August 3, 2018. It also features Arjun’s Ishaqzaade co-star Parineeti Chopra.
