Amitabh Bachchan makes a comeback in the new season of KBC


The new season of Kaun Banega Crorepati is all set to have a new theme. Kaun Banega Crorepati’s new season will have only 30-35 episodes with participants ranging from celebrities to real life heroes. The new format of the show will have lifelines comprising of video a friend, lifeline jodidaar wherein, the contestants can bring a relative to get an additional help with the answers. Additionally, there will be a lifeline called as the jackpot question . The show will mark the return of Amitabh Bachchan as the host and the game is reportedly to undergo huge changes. During the launch of the new season of KBC, Amitabh Bachchan revealed about the changes in his own life.

“Not just the lives of the participants, but my own life has also been changed because of the show. We have made conscious efforts in trying to make people’s dreams come true. I remember the first time the show was offered to me. I was in London. I decided to visit the sets of the original Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, and told Siddharth Basu that I would like to be a part of the show, if you are planning to make an exact replica of the original,” said Amitabh Bachchan.

Adding further he said, “It was on the sets of the first season of ‘KBC’ when I experienced sharp pains in my side and was later diagnosed with tuberculosis.”

Kaun Banega Crorepati will be aired on Sony channel from mid September from Monday to Friday at 9.00 pm, replacing the time slot of the current running show Beyhadh.
