Actor Siddharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt’s frequent appearance is evidence enough about their relationship, though they may have not publicly admitted about it.
Rumours are rife about their break up and that there is no hopes for reconciliation. During the launch of the song of movie A Gentleman, Siddharth was asked to comment on the rumour about their break up, to which the actor said, “Alia and I break up? For what? Breaking tables and chairs”.
Moreover, he was asked about his past girlfriends and what he did to impress them, to which he answered, “I used to do bad desi raps. As a true gentleman, I made fewer mistakes. I treat them nicely especially my girlfriends”.
During the event Siddharth Malhotra also rapped the song Bandook Meri Laila along with the singers Sachin and Jigar, while Jacqueline who sported a glamorous attire was dancing on the song’s beats.
When asked about the song, the directors of the film Raj and DK said, “This song is one of its kind and it’s all because of Sachin and Jigar. It’s our fourth collaboration with them.”
Adding further Siddharth said, “When I heard this song for the first time I fell in love with it because of its music and the attitude. I had practiced before so that I could rap.”
On playing the double role in the film Siddharth said, “When the teaser came out, it just had a small tune of this song and I received a lot of messages regarding it. We recently shot this video and there’s not much dance and half the video is from our film. I like action films and we as a team are trying to bring back action films back in trend. If it does well then we may come back with a sequel to this one.”
Talking about pole dancing, Jacqueline who has learned the art said, “I did learn it as this film is based in Miami, pole dance is common out there. My character is completely opposite to that of Gaurav.”
Directed by D.K. Krishna and Raj Nidimoru, A Gentleman has Jacqueline Fernandez and Siddharth Malhotra playing a pivotal role. A Gentleman is scheduled to release on August 25.
