2017 is turning out to be a good year for superstar Ajay Devgn. His recently released film Baadshaho has done great business at the box office and his next release Golmaal Again seems to have all the ingredients of becoming a sure shot hit at the ticket window.
Besides, the actor has also announced two more projects this year - Raid and Tanaaji: The Unsung Warrior. While Tanaaji: The Unsung Warrior, a biopic on Maratha legend Tanaji, is expected to mount floors next year, Ajay has already started shooting for Raid with his Baadshaho co-star Ileana D'Cruz.
Ajay will be seen in the role of an income tax officer in the movie. To be shot extensively in Lucknow, the film is set in Uttar Pradesh in the 1980s. Raid is based on real-life events involving one of the most high-profile income tax raids the country has ever known.
T-Series, which is co-producing the film, has now unveiled the release date of the movie. Directed by Rajkumar Gupta, Raid will hit screens on March 16, 2018.
