1. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge  

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, also known as DDLJ, is an Indian romance film, directed by Aditya Chopra, produced by his father Yash Chopra, and written by Javed Siddiqui with Aditya Chopra. The plot revolves around Raj (Shah Rukh Khan) and Simran (Kajol), two young non-resident Indians, who fall in love during a vacation through Europe with their friends. Raj tries to win over Simran’s family so the couple can marry, but Simran’s father has long since promised her hand to his friend’s son. 

2. My Name Is Khan 

My Name Is Khan is directed by Karan Johar, produced by Hiroo Johar and Gauri Khan, and stars Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in lead roles. The film is about an Indian Muslim man with Asperger’s syndrome takes a challenge to speak to the President seriously, and embarks on a cross-country journey. 

3. Baazigar 

Baazigar is an Indian crime thriller film directed by Abbas–Mustan starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in the lead roles and Shilpa Shetty in a supporting role. It is a contemporary thriller about a young man who stops at nothing to get what he wants. This was Shah Rukh Khan’s breakthrough role as the sole lead and Kajol’s first commercial success. 

4. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai 

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, also known as KKHH was written and directed by Karan Johar and starred the popular pair, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. Rani Mukerji featured in a supporting role, while Salman Khan also had an extended-cameo appearance. The story is about 3 friends and their college years. Anjali (Kajol) was in love with her best-friend Rahul (Shah Rukh Khan), but he had eyes only for Tina (Rani Mukerji). Years later, Rahul and the now-deceased Tina’s eight-year-old daughter attempts to reunite her father and Anjali. 

5. Gupt: The Hidden Truth  

Gupt is a suspense thriller film, directed by Rajiv Rai. It stars Bobby Deol, Manisha Koirala in lead role and Kajol in a negative role, with Paresh Rawal, Om Puri and Raj Babbar in supporting roles. The film is about a Governor Jaisingh Sinha who is murdered and the needle of suspicion points towards his estranged son, Sahil Sinha who must prove his innocence.
