All of Deepika’s wedding outfits were by Sabyasachi Mukherjee. It was quite known that her outfits would be by him as she always wears his outfits for almost every occasions. All the jewellery were by Sabyasachi also as well her and her husband Ranveer Singh were both styled by Sabyasachi.
Deepika had a very traditional Indian mehendi in Lake Como, Italy.
Deepika’s South Indian wedding outfit was a beautiful red sareee. It was a Kanjeevaram saree, which was given to her by her mother, Ujjala Padukone.
Anand Karaj is a Sikh wedding ceremony, which was introduced by Guru Amar Das. For this ceremony, Deepika wore a red outfit again, which had pink undertone. Her dupatta (veil) covering her head had “Sada Saubhyagyavati Bhava” written as the embroider. It means a blessing given to the “bride and the groom for all the evils to be warded off her husband and may she remain a happy bride for the rest of her life”.
For her wedding reception in Bengaluru, Deepika again wore a gold saree gifted to her by her mother, Ujjala Padukone. Deepika was styled by Sabyasachi. She paired the saree with Zambian emeralds and diamonds statement choker by Sabyasachi.
Another party that was thrown by Ranveer Singh’s sister in Mumbai, Deepika wore another Sabyasachi outfit.
