5 flop film actors who earned fame on television

  1. Zayed Khan 

Zayed Khan has entered television with the show Haasil.  Zayed Khan has been featured in a number of films, and even acted in multi-starrer films like Main Hoon Na, with Shah Rukh Khan. He was also seen with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Shabd, but that didn’t help his career. Let us see if television can help his career to move forward.

Ronit Roy 

He started his career as a Bollywood actor but none of his films did well at the box office. Then he moved to television in Ekta Kapoor’s Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi as Mihir and in Kasautii Zindagii Kay as Mr Bajaj. He not only earned popularity on television but also started getting roles again in Bollywood, with that he started getting appreciations for his acting skills.

3. Ayub Khan 

Ayub Khan starred in Bollywood films like Mrityudand, Qayamat: City Under threat, Woh and LOC: Kargil, but soon faded away. Then he went missing for few years soon he shifted his career towards television and now he is seen in the TV show, Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki where he playing the role of Soumya and Surbhi’s father.

Apurva Agnihotri 

He started his career with Subhas Ghai’s film Prades along with Shah Rukh Khan. But he was soon lost in the world of Bollywood. Then after a period of a gap, he was seen on television show Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin where he played the role of Armaan Suri in that role he earned lots of fans.

Aashish Chaudhary 

Aashish Chaudhary was seen in films like Qayamat: City Under Threat, Dhamaal, Bhootnath, Paying Guests and Double Dhamaal. He became briefly famous but soon faded away. Aashish then moved to television series Dev which became quite popular.
